Branding/Identity: One of the most often overlooked and undervalued design services is branding and identity (logo) design, but retaining a professional designer for this is actually the most important investment you can make in your business. A quality identity is more than just a stamp of your business name – a quality identity represents the essence of your business. It should have meaning, and it should be approached as seriously as you approach your business. My branding and identity service package begins with discovery research into your business so that I may fully understand the purpose and mission of your business. Next, I invest time in researching your competition to make sure that your identity will be unique to you and that it will also stand well among the identities within your field. Once I have the background research as a foundation for your identity, I will present you with an identity briefing containing 2-3 original concepts from which to choose, and I will perform up to two revisions to your chosen concept. The final package will contain your new identity in many different formats – you will have every format you need for color or black and white, for print and digital mediums as well as versions formatted for social media and a favicon (the little icon that appears next to the web address in the address bar of web browsers) for your website along with instructions for the proper use of each format.

Print Design: Printed materials are still a necessity in the business world. These can include expanded identity package items such as business cards, letterhead and envelopes as well as marketing materials such as brochures, catalogs, posters, postcards, direct mail pieces, press kit components, product packaging, trade show booth graphics, banners, signs — the list goes on and on. Web Design and Development: Regardless of the line of business, every company should have a strong web presence to be competitive in today’s market. Your website is your storefront to the global community, and making a good first impression with all of those potential customers is key. I will work with you to build a custom solution that fits your business to a tee. Options include a content management system for those who need frequent updates to content and who have the time to make the changes themselves, or we can work out a maintenance schedule for the business owner who prefers to focus on core competencies, leaving the web work to me.

Digital Marketing Collateral: This includes banner ads and animated GIFs for online advertising as well as Flash animations, dynamic PDFs, HTML email campaigns, micro sites and landing pages. I have experience in each of these types of collateral, and I will work with you to identify and implement the best solution for your marketing budget.

Copy Writing and Editing: Sometimes it can be tough to whittle down to the essence of your business when the time comes to write the copy for your website and marketing materials - after all, it's the details of your business that occupy so much of your time as an enterpreneur. Many of my clients have hired me to help them get to the heart of what they do so that their written content is clear and concise. I will engage in a brief interview process with you to discover the key points of your business and what makes you unique in your field, and then I will draft your written content for you, saving you a lot of time that you can invest in billable hours, instead.

Residential Drafting and Design: This niche may seem out of place in concert with my other service offerings, but I actually began my professional life as a draftsman in my teens. I am available for independent general contractors and homeowners who are planning new builds or light renovations, as well as for area drafting companies with overflow work to be done.
